Sending Church

This church plant is made possible by Christ the King Lutheran Church in Pipestone, MN. The small town congregation has come around this plant in Ankeny with the heart that many individuals would be reached for Christ. As a sending church, Christ the King provides financial accountability, administrative support, and prayerful oversight for Emmanuel Lutheran.

National Church Body

Emmanuel is affiliated with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC). This is a fellowship of independent Lutheran congregations, who have chosen to be interdependent for the purpose of accomplishing service in the Kingdom of God that cannot best be done alone.
